I had a sport boat and I did inboard the motor. I will try to resize some pics to post. No matter what I did the sport boat did not perform as well as my Jon boats do. the only time I was happy with the sport boat is when I had 800 lbs in the belly of the boat. I have since sold the boat but, inboarding the motor to the back seat did help some but I had to kneel on the floor of the boat.

Thanks. I look forward to seeing the pictures to get some ideas. I really do not want to start drilling mounting holes for a "new" inner-transom all Willie-Nillie.

I believe I used tractor hitch pin reducers for the sleeve, used rivnuts to mount to the seat. it was very clean, light and effective.

Thanks again, once the weather gets cooler, I have a bunch of repair to complete on the beast.
