Use For Longtail In A Flood?

Post by C David »

Is there any specialty use for a longtail during a flood where it might be a better option than a standard outboard?

...just thinking of the folks in the southeast today...prayers

Oh yes. Over the years, we've received numerous stories from Swamp Runner owners who've donated their time to help others.
Some have called or emailed, while others have documented their stories on social media.

I remember one customer in Louisiana was using his Swamp Runner to rescue folks in neighborhoods that the game warden's could not reach with their surface drives.
They brought out a lady in a wheelchair who had a medical emergency. He posted pictures on social media, but I can't seem to find them.

The rescues have not been limited to floods.
Another fellow up north was duck hunting when a snow storm set in. A hunter in an outboard boat had a heart attack, and he was transported to the boat ramp by a Swamp Runner.
Psalm 55:7 - Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness.

Yep, first time ever driving down the I95. Got to watch for lawn ornaments and fire hydrents.
