Fireman Retired , Pump Operator from New Orleans , Live in Metairie La .

Hi all ,
I don't type very often but enjoy all the conversations and vids . I have a 1972 1232 sears aluminum john boat with the 212 Pred setup like Ebowski's engine . Mine runs 22-23 before it got too hot here to mess with it . Still need to test since I replaced the valve keepers with high shoulder ones to give more spring compression . My hemi would float the 26 pound springs at 6000 RPM . It took me a long time to figure out it wasn't running out of gas in the carb . When it cools off a little here I'll get back on it , It was 100* degrees today .

Bombed college, 4 years later, became a licensed LU 479 electrician. An opportunity led me to an industrial fire protection company, where my job was to install alarm and deluge systems - but I picked up skills and qualifications in sprinkler systems in the process. 4 years of that and numerous licensing / certifications, I tried college again. Now I'm an electrical engineer working for Kellogg Brown & Root.

Nothing beats being a dad to my two great kids, and taking them on all types of adventures.
