I did in a 2000 Mazda b series truck. It was garbage and couldn't handle the 388 SBC and th350 i put in it. I swapped to a 8.8 ford and it was good to go. I've ran them in my Malibu, s10's, and my Camaro. They don't use as much power as a 9" but can be strong enough for most circumstances. I consistently cut 1.4x 60ft times on drag radials no problem.

So, the answer is simply no, got it.

I have a Detroit locker for a Ranger 7.5" needing a home.

That's an upgrade over stock with an automatic for sure. The 4wd boys should want it.

I have it/ free,.. Looking for someone with (likely a 3.0 DOG or the good ole lil' Mazda) a comittment to put it to use and its theirs FREE.

To clarify this is not a "take out", but an aftermarket mechanical locker needing a home.

Given to me free, until i realized the 3.0 ford engine is a worthless gas hog that makes no power,.. Its been in a box two years and needs a warm diff to reside in.

I know this post is old, but do you still have it? I have a ranger I could put it to use in.
