I never said anything about deer or buck tails. I specifically addressed Migratory birds that are harvested with a hunting license.

Willie, How about an elk tail? I went to CO last year and got a cow elk, I'm going back this year. I went with a guided hunt, 8 elk were taken last year, I hope we do as well or better this year. Only one person kept the whole hide so I should be able to collect a few. I can split the tail, debone and salt it and when I get home send them to you.
