Decoy painting sugestions

[*]ok so I have a couple of dozen mallard decoys that need reprinting I have never done it before and wanted to get some suggestions on type of paint and how detailed I should try and do them notice I said try!!! I see there are quite a few people on here making their own so though I might ask. Thanks in advance.

Plastic decoys? Are you repainting them as mallards or something else? Give me some more info and I will help you out.

If you painted them to look like fawns, could you use them during deer season as well?

Scrub them with a good degreaser ... Prime them with a good primer like kilz...paint with acrylics and let cure 2 weeks ..
