What do you this time of year?
I'm not a hunter, but I know many hunters are packing away their rifles and dusting off their rods and reels for fishing. For you hardcore hunters, what do you hunt this time of year?

Still trying to keep the pig populations down.
Last weekend I hunted some paper plates and rotten lemons to make sure the rifles were shooting right.
I also hunt tilapia all year with a bow.

Now that duck season is over, I have been busy coaching Little League. I have not had time to hit water to do any fishing.

Fly fishing, when I have time.
Psalm 55:7 - Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness.

A bunch of us guys at work just built a track for our yard karts to race on. I bought another 212 and put a stage 3 kit with a torque tube on it. Haven't mounted it on the kart yet (painting it right now) but the engine sounds like a beast. Can't wait to sip a few Jack and Cokes while we're racing, should be fun to say the least.

Fish a lot. I've put about 30 lbs of catfish in the freezer via jugging and trotlines. Scout via Google Earth. Fixing to go do some scouting by boat, as having the mud boat opened up a whole new world of opportunities for me, gonna hunt the Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge this year. Considering entering the world of duck hunting but don't know my ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to ducks, so I need a mentor.
Working on buying a house this year, so decided not to get in on a deer hunting lease, so I'm trying to find the most remote and hardest to access places to improve my odds.
Before summer gets too hot, I'm going to make a trip up to North Florida and try and get in on some blue and flathead catfishing in the big rivers up there. Don't have them down here, and I miss running limb lines with big ole bluegill as bait.
Used to run hog dogs year round, but got tired of feeding so many mouths, burying damn fine dogs, and the always shrinking land permissions.

In the off season we like to train versatile gun dogs, and catch up on the honey do list so we can shoot birds all Fall.
