How To Post Youtube & Facebook Videos

HOW TO EMBED YOUTUBE VIDEOS
To Embed a Youtube video in your post, go to the video's Youtube page. Below the video click on the SHARE tab. A link will appear in the text block below. Hold down the left mouse button and highlight the link. With the cursor located over the highlighted link, click the right mouse button to bring up a window. Left click on COPY.

Return to the Swamp Runner Forums. Choose the forum and thread where you want to post the video. Choose either POST REPLY or NEW TOPIC to open the EDIT POST window. Place your cursor at the location within the text block where you want the video to appear. Right click and PASTE the video link. Hold down the left mouse button and highlight the link you just posted.

Now click on the YOUTUBE_SHORT button located above the text block. Two Youtube code brackets should appear on each side of the highlighted link.

Scroll down and click PREVIEW. If it was done correctly the Youtube video frame should appear. Then click SUBMIT.

HOW TO EMBED FACEBOOK VIDEOS
To Embed a Facebook video in your post, go to the video's Facebook page. While the video is playing, you will see the video's URL web address located in the address bar at the top of the page. Hold down on the left mouse button and highlight this entire web address link. With the cursor located over the highlighted link, click the right mouse button to bring up a new window. Left click on COPY.

Return to the Swamp Runner Forums. Choose the forum and thread where you want to post the Facebook video. Choose either POST REPLY or NEW TOPIC to open the EDIT POST window. Place your cursor at the location within the text block where you want the video to appear. Right click and PASTE the video link. IMPORTANT: You must remove everything after the last digit in the first set of numbers (example in bold);

After the unwanted portion is removed, the address should now look like this;

Hold down the left mouse button and highlight the link you just posted.

Now click on the FACEBOOKVIDEO button located above the text block. A FACEBOOKVIDEO code bracket should appear on each side of the highlighted link.
