I have heard talk that the 99cc was going to be available again. Not sure if there is any truth to that or not. Harbor Freight is not currently offering a 99cc engine.

Carrol Stream still sells a 98cc as does Home Depot.

I would go with the Lifan. Twenty dollars less, and it comes with a 3 year warranty.

Re: Mini kit on my layout boat.
Can you please tell me how long the mini kit is and approximately how much it weighs? How does it compare to the small kit? Thanks!

The Mini kit weighs approximately right at 30 lbs, and the shaft is 75" in length.

I'm tempted to put one on my kayak where the cooler is sitting.

I can see you losing a mini kit. Hopefully not but I would bet that it would roll the boat if you turned too sharp.

Na, that boat is stable. I can sit on the side with my legs in the water and it won't tip. It is as wide as some of the small sneak boats I've seen down here. But losing everything is always a possibility when you take a boat on the water.

I definetly want to see a video if you get a mini for it, honestly think it'd be pretty cool. I just don't have much experience with kayaks and I always thought they were real "tippy".
