Bushing, Flange, Hardwood
$8.00
This wood flange bushing is used extensively by Thai longtail racers because it has better heat resistance than the orange nylon bushings.
In stock
Swamp Runner has a few different bushing materials. The wood bushings are normally used throughout the inside of the tail shaft to help support the inner shaft and is what comes in all standard shafts. This is the flange bushing so it is the one you see at the end of the shaft near the prop. These wood bushings are what the Thai’s use for racing. They take heat and high RPM's well, but tend to wear more quickly when introduced to abrasive environments.
You can tell when a bushing gets worn out when you can move the prop end of your shaft up and down and side to side. You should have very little to no play at the end of the shaft. If so, its time to replace that flange bushing.
